Mary-Ann is the founder and heart of Nova’s Ark. Mary-Ann spent over 25 years in education and has
been a passionate supporter of inclusion throughout her years in the classroom. As a special
education facilitator, and finally, as an award-winning elementary principal receiving Canada’s
Outstanding Principal Award in 2006. In 2011, Mary-Ann made the decision to focus solely on
fulfilling her dream on the endless possibilities of Nova’s Ark – Where Special is Welcome.
