Ways to Give
As a registered charity, Nova’s Ark relies on the generous support of donors (people like you) that assist in keeping our programming operating year-round. We provide our services without government funding, so we rely on fee-for-service programs, donations, and fundraising activities to continue our work. All gifts, small or large, are greatly appreciated and make a significant difference to all we do.
Your funding provides the support to maintain the individualized activities that include educational and interactive experiences for our participants and continued maintenance/ updating of our unique facility. Your funds can be directed in a variety of ways, such as an accessible pathway to our creek, a swing that allows our friends in wheelchairs to play inclusively with others, or building a garden. Your choice will be honoured and used in the way you or your group requests.
Nova’s Ark is committed to accountability and transparency of donor giving. Please feel free to check our Canadian Revenue Agency account that provides information on how all monetary funds are allocated.
We have amazing partnerships with many businesses and corporations that support Nova’s Ark. Check out our Facebook page to see some of the ways that our community has reached out. As a grassroots charity, we value all of these efforts. Thank you to those who believe and consistently donate. You have become part of our Nova’s Ark family.
We know that there are many requests for your time and money. For that reason, Nova’s Ark does not request funds through flyers or e-mail. We focus on our participants and are reliant on the passion of our community and the individuals who support Nova’s Ark. Our fundraising is through people who have reached out to support because they are aware of how Nova’s Ark changes lives.
We have had many clubs, businesses and organizations that have donated funds raised through Bowling, Golf and Fishing tournaments, Dress Down Days and Spaghetti Nights. These are examples of creative ways that organizations have given back to our Nova’s Ark community. If you are holding an event through your business, or club and wish to fundraise for Nova’s Ark, we would love to partner with you.
