After 25 years in the hospitality industry, Alex decided to put herself back into college and embark on a new career as a PSW. Alex has always been interested in the health field and has realized the need for personal support workers combined with her desire to help and care for people. After recently graduating in August of 2021 from the Durham College PSW program, and having completed her placement at Nova’s Ark, she knew this was where she was meant to be. Nova’s Ark stole her heart from the second she walked onto the property. She joined the Nova’s Ark team in September of 2021 as our full-time personal support worker, focusing on the personal care and support of our guests. With her passion for animals, riding horses, exercise and above all else, our guests, there’s no place she’d rather be.
