Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Brief info
Before Nova’s Ark, Kendell decided to attend the PSW program at Durham Colleges, as he was interested in working in a healthcare environment. Kendell’s Internship/Placement opportunity started at Nova’s Ark in 2021. After graduating in December 2021, Kendell is now a Certified Personal Support Worker at Nova’s Ark and is an outstanding member of our Support Staff. As a Certified PSW, Kendell focuses on the personal care of our participants. He also supports our youth and adults in achieving their daily programming goals. Through one-on-one and group mentorship, he continues to focus on the strengths of each individual here at Nova’s Ark. Kendell is currently working towards his Child and Youth Care diploma to further his expertise in supporting our participants.
