Zoe Werheid

Zoe joined our team as the full-time Social Worker in August 2022. Zoe was immediately drawn to the unique atmosphere and strength-based programming Nova’s Ark provides during her internship in 2021. Zoe continued to volunteer as her passion and dedication of working with our families grew. Zoe’s role as the Social Worker encompasses providing support to a variety of individuals to enhance social functioning and self-determination through a strength-based, trauma-informed lens. Zoe focuses on counselling and providing participants support, both individually and in groups, in developing self-confidence, independence, self-regulation strategies, and a stronger self-awareness of emotional needs. Additionally, Zoe provides direct mentorship to university and college students on their path of becoming Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
