Annabelle began working at Nova's Ark in July of 2025 during our Summer Program. She was immediately drawn to the inclusivity and positivity of our programming. Annabelle has always had a passion for working with individuals of all abilities and loves to help others.

Annabelle has completed a diploma in Police Foundations at Fanshawe College. In the school community, she has worked with children through coaching sports and volunteering. Nova's Ark is a way for Annabelle to bring a different view of connecting with individuals of all abilities to the community and justice system.

As a mentor, Annabelle works one-on-one and in small group settings with participants, helping them reach their goals while feeling safe and understood. She focuses on their strengths and helps to support them in any way needed.

Annabelle is passionate about making a difference. She loves being involved in something that is much more than just a job but a community of people here to help. Working at Nova's Ark has taught her so much already, which she will carry with her into the future. Being at Nova's Ark brings a different point of view to her everyday life.

Unlike everywhere else I’ve been, at Nova’s Ark, I do not feel out of place. It gives me something that I feel like I can’t find anywhere else. I meet people that I otherwise wouldn’t meet and I feel like a lot of those who have helped me through my struggles I’ve met here.

Nova’s Ark is special to our whole family. When Daniel first started here, he could only speak one-word sentences. Now, he can talk your ear off and is very independent. Daniel being at Nova’s Ark takes a lot of pressure off of our family because we know he is safe, happy and learning. No matter the weather or if he is tired, Daniel doesn’t want to miss a day.

From the moment our son started attending Novas Ark, we felt such positivity, hope and inspiration. Everyone in the Nova’s Ark family has been so caring and accepting of our whole family. Nova’s Ark has gone above and beyond to help us on our family’s journey and we are beyond thankful. We are so lucky to have found such a supportive environment for our children and our family.
