You can be as young as three to join our programs at Nova’s Ark! There is no maximum age for our programs. The age of the participant will influence the goal for their programming.

Due to our unique programming for our pre-booked participants, we are not open to the public. We are aware many are interested in our unique therapeutic animals, however, we are not a zoo.

Since we are not open to the public, we do not post our address. If you are looking for our address to attend a program, you can contact us at 905-706-1009.

As we continue to grow as a non-for profit charity, our focus is on our participants in pre-booked programming. If you wish to check out Nova’s Ark in order to volunteer or create a connection, you must book an appointment first.

Yes! We are inclusive of all. Some families wish for their children to learn about acceptance and inclusion.

Many of our friends have various types of funding options to help pay for programming. This can include Ontario Autism Program (OAP), Passport/Canopy Funding, Special Services at Home, Core Funding, Dual Diagnosis and Private Insurance. Programming may also be paid through personal funds.

The Ontario Autism Funding Program (OAP) is managed by our Registered Clinical Professionals, who provide personalized one-on-one therapy that requires extensive documentation. In contrast, our Non-Funded participants do not require the registered therapeutic counselling and the in-depth documentation of a Registered Clinical Professional. Participants will be accessing Non-Registered Clinical Professionals which will provide support in one-to-one or small-group settings through individualized programming.
