Arin joined our team in July 2026 during our Summer Program. Arin was drawn to Nova's Ark because she values the opportunity to create activities that foster inclusion throughout all aspects of programming. As Arin is planning to become a teacher, she enjoys opportunities that support learning and development for individuals of all abilities.

Arin graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, specializing in Animal Biology. Arin also holds a Master of Education from York University, where their studies focused on diversity, equity and inclusion.

As a mentor, Arin loves working one-on-one with our participants to provide individualized attention and additional support where it is needed.

Arin loves that every day feels like a new opportunity to learn through play, connect with our participants, encourage curiosity and help each individual grow to discover something new. Arin appreciates the value that Nova's Ark places on connections with the outdoors and our Therapy Animals. Nova's Ark combines Arin's passion for making meaningful connections with participants and opportunities to explore new experiences together.

Unlike everywhere else I’ve been, at Nova’s Ark, I do not feel out of place. It gives me something that I feel like I can’t find anywhere else. I meet people that I otherwise wouldn’t meet and I feel like a lot of those who have helped me through my struggles I’ve met here.

Nova’s Ark is special to our whole family. When Daniel first started here, he could only speak one-word sentences. Now, he can talk your ear off and is very independent. Daniel being at Nova’s Ark takes a lot of pressure off of our family because we know he is safe, happy and learning. No matter the weather or if he is tired, Daniel doesn’t want to miss a day.

From the moment our son started attending Novas Ark, we felt such positivity, hope and inspiration. Everyone in the Nova’s Ark family has been so caring and accepting of our whole family. Nova’s Ark has gone above and beyond to help us on our family’s journey and we are beyond thankful. We are so lucky to have found such a supportive environment for our children and our family.
